Location and size suited the three of us.

No air conditioner and there were stacks of mosquitoes - it was hot and humid so the apartment could’ve provided some form of mosquito repellent.

We were on the 4th floor and the elevator carried only luggage and stopped on the third floor. Way too many steps for a couple of mature ladies.

The location was excellent, we were in walking distance of everything. It was very clean and had all the basic necessities. We were welcomed by Carolina who was very nice and helpful. The apartment is very secure with a key for the front gate and codes to get through the doors, which we really liked.

We were very warm at night time as there is no air con - that isn’t the fault of the property, but if you are not used to the heat like us, you might find it a bit hot!

The staff is very professional and kind, always at disposal. The apartment is modern and well equipped, located in the center of Funchal but the street is very quiet. I totally recommend it.

Location is great. Views from the “birds nest” ( as I call it, on the top floor, up 4 flights of stairs +another flight to get to bedroom and bathroom). Elevator only carries luggage to the 3rd floor, must hand carry to the next floor.

The lounge space is extremely small. Kitchen had limited supplies for eating and cooking. For the size of the accommodation, it was overpriced for sure.

Carolina was very helpful and was there to welcome us on arrival. She would message us every few days to see how we were going and if we needed anything and was very prompt with any requests to ensure that we were comfortable.. She was very friendly and made us feel like were were at home. The location was perfect and the apartment was very clean and modern. The views from our room were spectacular and we were also happy to have the verandah to hang out our washing and have somewhere to relax.

The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable and we had to end up requesting another mattress as the initial mattress was very thin. As it was quite warm when we were there, I would recommend air-conditioning in the bedroom as it got quite warm and the fan was fairly effective but very noisy. We had the apartment on Level 4 which had beautiful views and was quite spacious. The only downfall was that the elevator only worked for the luggage and we had to climb 5 flight of stairs.
