Huntly House - A Residence Like No Other

Great location

Other than the entrance/hallway, the place is one of the nicest room/studio I've ever been. I'll definitely come back again when I visit Glasgow.

First time staying at this apartment, but I have stayed at a few of Tehmeenas other apartments and I always know that there is going to be a good standard of what to expect. Clean, accessible and easy all around. The apartment is in a great location, parking is easy enough with pay and display as is normal in the area. you have access to a shared garden if you wish, and the place was clean. TV is new and has all the latest apps etc. kitchen area has what you need. This is smaller than her other places so I’d say for one or two people it’s perfect. It’s got a very cool decor/feel to it. Tehmeena is always on hand for any questions. Would recommend

Great location! Close to the university, shopping, and subway.

There was no air conditioning, and the apartment was downstairs, so we had to carry heavy luggage down narrow steps.

The key was exactly where it was supposed to be and it was no problem to park in front of the house while we were unloading the car and then we drove to the area Tehmeena had recommended for free parking and found a nice spot. It might just be helpful to know that you can pay for parking in front of the house, but only cash is accepted there (unlike in many other places). The apartment was exactly like in the pictures, the location is phantastic and we were very happy there.

We were not quite aware of the fact that the only place to sit and eat is the couch table. This was not a problem, because we were not planning on cooking elaborate dinners anyway, but for some it might be. Also, the "bedroom" was basically an alcove with about 20 cm space to walk arounde the bed - again: no problem, but at first a little bit of a surprise.

Quite pricey but location was great. Quite early check out compared with a lot of other accommodation in Glasgow. You can request later but it’s charged at a steep £20 an hour.

Cost

Loved how comfortable & stylish the property was. The location was so close to Byres Rd, but without the noise of traffic.

Unfortunately street parking is quite expensive.

Great location for the West End

Significant heating issues, having been broken by previous occupant and not reported. Host however was excellent and worked really hard to fix the issues and ended up with a workaround.
