Huntly House - A Residence Like No Other

Two minutes from Byers Road. The style & attention to detail in the apartment were of the highest order, the broader building was more 'shabby-chic'. The bedroom was snug but well kitted-out but the living room was spacious and cleverly arranged.

bedroom, do not book this place, the bed is awful and you cant swing a cat in the room you cannot even walk too the wardrobe without hurdling the bed, dirty cracked cups, the window shutter was broken not secure i checked out the following morning as I had too take all my belongings with me, due too window not secure. i was due too stay two nights the pictures show full frontage of property with white door in center, look pretty don't be fooled you only get right hand side of property, this is not the entrance either, you enter by main shared doorway down some dirty carpet stairwell, to arrive at the basement which is where you enter the flat. i complained about a broken toilet seat, which is broken i was informed by the owner over a telephone conversation that her handyman has said its not broken, at this point i felt any positive feedback so they can make someone else's stay better than mine was not been fully listened too. see comments ref bedroom from other guests and still its not been addressed. overpriced and not at all what's been advertised, false images are still on the site.

The place was beautiful with amazing access to the Westend

I did not like that we were really rushed when we got there them showing us about. There is a separate bedroom across the hall. The guy who showed us around was like you won't need the spare room. But we did the lock was broken and they were waiting on it repaired. We paid 200 for the night so I expected the other room for that. Also they said there was no key to the garden although there is a garden advertised for the apartment. I have a 3 legged dog so reason I booked a garden was for the dog. Also was accused of taking keys home although the guy only gave us one set. So we got home and had to raid through our bags for a key we were not actually shown. Also could of done with some long life milk so could get a cup of tea on arrival.

Excellent location and lots of classy finishes around the flat. Host made it very easy to arrange entry and was flexible as we arrived slightly earlier than originally planned.

The bedroom area was very cramped and the bed uncomfortable (and we're small people). The flat would be good value for 3 people sharing the cost but was a bit pricey for the two of us.

Beautifully decorated and clean, great for a quick stay over.

No dislikes but the bedroom is very small and cramped, there is hardly any floor space to walk around the bed. The shower cubicle is small. One very small waste paper bin for the whole flat. The communal area inside the building is very shabby and smelly.
