Quiet location in beautiful surroundings with a relaxed atmosphere

Beautiful location. Clean and very comfortable and well-equipped facilities. Hosts were also great. Made sure we had everything we needed and we're comfortable. We also really appreciated the milk. eggs and scones left for us. Would definitely consider staying again when we are next in Cornwall.

We had a very warm and inviting welcome to Millbrook. Melanie gave us an extensive tour of the apartment which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the amenities were available for our self-contained apartment. The gardens at Millbrook are beautifully laid out and relaxing for a quiet stroll after being a tourist. The location suited us, with short travelling time to Camborne, Redruth, Porthleven and Helford. The rural location meant it was very quiet and had a good nights sleep. We could not have asked for more and wouldn’t hesitate to book a return holiday. Many thanks to Melanie and Bill.

The hosts went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They talked us through all the facilities available and took us on a tour of their lovely extensive gardens. The property is very private, the kitchen well stocked and the bed comfortable. We felt like we were at home.

There was nothing we didn't like - we didn't want to leave.

The apartment consists of the main rooms of the owners in the ground floor: Big living room, big kitchen, bed room, bath room and corridor. (The owners live in the attic and attached rooms). Extremely friendly and caring hosts, filling the fridge with eggs, milk and a homemade cake. The hosts have a park (much more than a garden) with chicken, ducks and even three ostrich birds. The garden is a paradise for strolling and enjoying the sun. Surely an appartment we will remember and recommend.

The house lies 2 km off Helston, a car or bikes are required.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a few days. We had a great time, which enabled us to explore the coastal path in the north and the south. Melanie is a very friendly host, very helpful, nothing was too much. The welcome home-made cake and free-range eggs were a treat. 10 stars, the best booking.com ever.
