The location, exterior, beautiful gardens interior, very warm and cosy

Wonderful huge garden, really amazing! Walking with the rheas was an unforgettable experience. Melanie and Bill are perfect hosts, we felt like at home from the very first moment. And the home-made cake was fantastic!

Everything was wonderful, we would love to come back one day.

The welcome. Having a cold beer sitting and chatting in front of the pond after the tour of the gardens. Having a wander around the gardens the following evening watching all the wild life. You can visit stunning local beauty spots but do take time to be still and reflect on your days well spent in front of the as the sun gently sinks behind the horizon in these lovely gardens.

Not staying longer

Location was beautiful, hosts very friendly and welcoming and self catering facilities excellent.

Millbrook is in lovely peaceful setting and we received a very warm welcome from Melanie and Bill. The bungalow was cosy, clean, comfortable and well equipped, a home from home, set in three and a half acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. We enjoyed meeting the two cats, hens, geese, rabbits and rheas. The freshly laid free range eggs and huge sponge cake were delicious. Thanks Melanie. (The gym was useful for working off the calories!) It's a good base for exploring the Lizard, St Michael's Mount, Helford and its gardens We can also recommend the river cruise from Budock Vean. We'll definitely be back.

A real gem. Such a warm and cosy place to stay. Melanie and Bill were so welcoming. Beautiful gardens. Our visit was too short, but we will definitely be back.

The property was clean, comfortable and a real home from home set in beautiful countryside. We were made to feel so welcome by our hosts with Cornish tea, coffee and an amazing homemade Victoria sandwich. Also freshly laid eggs. We were taken on a tour of the lovely garden complete with rheas, ducks and hens whilst buzzards soared above. Just perfect.
