Ferienwohnung Confluentia in der Koblenzer Altstadt

Great location. Very good kitchen with all facilities and very good refrigerator. Like an art gallery, lots of paintings. Large lounge with excellent media. Good wifi.

Lost hot water in kitchen for last 2 days of our stay. Bed had wide wooden surround and you had to be careful not to knock yourself on it. Bathroom very small and hot water in shower needed a knack to control it. No room for toilet roll holder. Paper was on top of toilet, not so handy for the ladies. Was told by owner not to put bags or anything on beds in 2nd bedroom because he’d have to pay the cleaner more. Lobby always smelt of cigarette smoke.

Watertemp in shower was too hot or very cold and we follow instructions about how to adjust.

Well laid out, nicely furnished apartment, in a good and convenient location! Well appointed kitchen.

The water temperature in the shower was impossible to control, despite the instructions. It needs a new temperature controlled faucet. Both towels and bed linen did not smell fresh. Simply needs to be washed at at least 60 degrees. Coffee or tea was missing.

Lovely characterful apartment. Great location within walking distance of sights, shops, bars and restaurants. Really well equipped and very comfortable.

Nothing - would happily stay again.

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. It is within a few minutes walk of the river and cable car, with lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Our host, Carmen, was extremely helpful and came to meet us when we took a wrong turn on our way to the apartment when we first arrived.

The property is in a brilliant location, just a couple of minutes walk from both the Alstadt and the river. Gaining entry to the property was really easy. The host contacted me in advance to ask what time I'd be arriving and was there to greet us. He was very friendly and welcoming.

The property decor was really tired and old and could do with updating. The bedding/towels etc were also very old. One of the bedsheets had a stain on it which the host did point out to me, to say the sheet had been washed and was clean. It was still a bit off putting though and it would surely just have been easier to buy a new sheet. The worst thing though, was that for the entire duration of our stay (2 days/nights) there was some sort of excrement (perhaps from a dog?) in the elevator of the building. I couldn't believe no one cleaned it up the whole time we were there and it was still there on the day we departed. That of course isn't really the fault of the host, but again still off putting. It should be remembered though that this wasn't an expensive property, but with a little more attention to detail, it could've been decent value for money.
