Details of issues sent to booking.com The shower door is unsafe and fell on my daughters foot. · We are presently unable to safely use the shower cubicle with the shower in place. · The shower spray holder is missing / damaged. · The bathroom door is damaged in several places and has been repaired with plastic tape. · There are marks on the bathr oom floor which appear to be blood ?. · The bedding is very old and stained. · The heating control has a PIN code which we are unaware of as such we are unable to adjust the heating temperature. · The TV turns on however the remote control does not appear to work. Please see below link to images : [link removed] Please remedy all these matters today (Saturday 13.12.24) as we will not be able to remain in the apartment, specifically when the remainder of our party arrive later today.

The Hosts told us we could leave and they would refund the first nights stay. We wanted the matters addressed and did not wish our holiday spoiled by the lack of attention to basic repairs. Resulting in us needing to find alternative accommodation for a short stay. We reported the matter to Booking.com they offered us a small monetary compensation and explained that the Owners were not prepared to respond further. We followed up with booking.com highlighting the safety matters (Exposed electrical wires and unstable shower door) as well as lack of cleanliness ( Blood on floor and stains on bedding) however were disappointed that they did not respond unfortunately. The experience was disappointing as the location was very good and although our family had a nice holiday these fairly simple matters should have been addressed by appropriate action to remedy clear safety issues (Exposed electrical wires and unstable shower door) as well as lack of cleanliness ( Blood on floor and stains on bedding) rather than offer compensation, which is not what we were looking for.
