VERANDA HUAHIN - Residence Pool Access

Top class apartment on the beach you get what you pay for and it didn’t disappoint

I drove there so getting around wasn’t a problem but if not it’s a bit out of the way

Very nice small apartment on the ground floor with comfortable bed, nice lounge area & easy access to the pool. We were met on arrival at reception & escorted to the apartment & received our resort access key & door access codes. Lovely Thai lady very helpful but limited English but got by OK. Property in a great location on the beach & restaurants within walking distance. A number of pools in the complex so no problem with finding a quiet area to relax & swim

The apartment was quite small so more like a large hotel room but missing the extra touches like tea & coffee supplies. No toaster, coffee machine, tea towel IMO essential in an apartment for any long stay. Apartment was advertised as a 1 bedroom with pool view but actually a sliding door to separate the bedroom from the lounge. Although there is access from the terrace into the pool (walk along a channel to the nearby pool) but could not actually see the pool from inside the apartment as advertised. Also questioned why only 1 chair & no table on the terrace when the apartment was for 2 people the reply being only 1 supplied in a studio? Resort access key didn't work so had to be reprogrammed but resolved quickly. Would stay here again due to location but just needs a few essentials to make it better.

The host was very helpful. We had no idea about pre-registration for key collection on the arrival day, but security guards and housekeeper (represent the host) were very helpful and finally we got the key. The room is nice and cosy with pool access. The room is clean and fully equiped with kitchenware stuff. Air conditioners work perfectly.

The door lock is a digital lock which works so slow. Every time entering the pin, we need to count 1-5 for the door to be openned. Anyway, door lock is very secure. Pool access, actually it's very nice that we can directly access to the pool from our room, but the pool was quite dirty as every body can just walk in. There are full of dirt and strain at the bottom of the pool. Location is a bit far from the city and the access road is not well maintained.
