The silence holiday apartment

Good located..you can visit Bellagio or drive to Como. Bus is really full but works. The view of the flat is to take the breath. Contact with the owners was easy and they answer fast.

I was there with three people for 3 nights. The accommodation is very good, but from my perspective some basic things were missing. There are not much utensils in the kitchen, but enough. We need to buy more toillet paper. If your stay is longer think about bringing these things :)

You need a car to get around. Views are amazing.

The location of the accommodation is right on the side of the lake, with a pretty terrace facing the lake, perfect for having your morning coffee on! The owners are very kind and helpful and the apartment was so clean! Will definitely come again.

Would have appreciated bedside lights and some basics such as condiments, perhaps olive oil.

The apartment is very clean with an amazing view. It was the perfect size for a family of four. It’s just outside Lezzeno so you definitely need a car to get around. Stefano (who we communicated with through messaging) was very helpful and polite.

Whilst Stefano was a polite host, unfortunately we had the opposite experience with his mother, who assisted us with check in/check out. She shouted at us upon arrival when we were trying to park our car. We mistakenly forgot the €100 deposit - lots of eye rolling and huffing from the host. I apologised and said I would have it at 9.30am the next day. I went to the local ATM that evening and it was broken. I took a photo as I knew the host would not be happy, however I messaged Stefano to let him know and to pass the message on to his mother. Imagine my surprise when she appears the next day at 9.30 demanding the cash once again. I explained the situation and that I had informed Stefano. More eye rolling… “NO! YOU GO NOW! It’s the rules!” I explained that I was in my pyjamas having breakfast with my children and would not be able to “go now”. She was extremely rude about the whole situation and with no compassion. We took the money out in Bellagio that day and gave it to her. Upon check out, again, similar treatment. My son had unfortunately had a wee accident in his bed that night (he’s 3). I had stripped the beds. When she arrived I apologised and explained they would need a wash (which I presume should be done after every stay anyway). She was very annoyed, turning her nose up as if there was acid on the sheets! She found a pyjama top of my son’s and threw it down on the floor at my feet. The treatment by this host was unacceptable in my opinion and almost ruined our stay, which is a shame as we enjoyed the apartment. The apartment definitely need air conditioning. I’d you open the windows at night you get a lot of bugs coming in. It would have been nice to have some kid-friendly cutlery/plates. Everything is bone china and whilst very beautiful, we were very nervous about using it with children, especially after the welcome we had received. Some lamps would be nice - the main lights are quite bright and attract the bugs.
