Price for value and cleanliness

This is an apartment in a highrise, with no directions available at the property. Host needs to meet you at exact time to hand over keys, but also asks for exact time you would be leaving so that she can take keys back. While I completely understand the need to meet tenants, keys just could be left behind in a lockbox or inside the property. This is clearly an oversight. Additionally, my morning shower was with cold water.

The apartment was beautiful and clean.

The apartment was on a busy Street. It was very hot. Check in was quite difficult having a lady explaining us the rules of the house, having to sign papers. We also had to call 3 times before reaching the apartment.

The location was okay, especially with public transportation just outside the door. The room was very clean. Basic equipment, but enough for one or two nights, if you just need a place to sleep.

I did not like the procedure of getting and returning the keys. 1) You have to call the host THREE times to tell them when you're arriving (once in general, once 2 hours before arrival, and once 15 minutes prior), I did not like that. 2) I'd have preferred a lockbox with keys than meeting the host. The host is nice, no question, but they come upstairs with you, have you sign some papers, etc. That kind of thing makes me uncomfortable. 3) You have to also tell them the EXACT time when you want to leave, because they will come back for the keys. Other than that: the room was also not very cosy, I guess that's the (teracotta) tiles floor that made me feel like that. The building itself (and the elevator) are not that nice (although no issue with the apartment, except fot that lack of coziness). If it had cost 30-40 EUR, I wouldn't complain, but 63 EUR that I paid for one night in the middle of the week is more than I paid for a higher class hotel in London.

Clean to spotless, very comfortable beds and excellent value for the price.

Definitely love this place. The room & toilet were clean; the bed sheet was also hypoallergenic. The facilities were just what we needed, including a small but very useful kitchen. The atmosphere was peaceful and very cosy. Very kind, friendly, and helpful owner lady. Good location. We will absolutely stay there again if we visit Leipzig in the future, and we highly recommend others to do the same.

Breakfast wasn't included in the price.

Big room, had everything we needed. Free parking on the street, which was very helpful. Quiet location.

The check-in was a bit tricky - they need you to call them, so the host would come with the key. Same for check-out, had to give the key back at exact time.
