The bed needs a new mattress

Location to city centre and had all the facilities we needed

Decor a litttle bit tired, but wouldn’t stop us staying again

The best thing about the flat is its location. It's perfectly placed for the castle area of the city - if walking up steep streets to get there isn't an issue - very convenient for the main shopping area and a short walk from the river front. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is good. The furniture and decor is a bit tired but if the flat is just used as a base this doesn't matter, unlike the state of the bed.

It's impossible to get a good night's sleep because of the state of the bed. It's advertised as a double bed but it's two separate mattresses which don't zip together, they both have a hard raised edge and there's a 4 inch gap between them. They must be very old mattresses because they are full of hard lumps and ridges that dig into you. There's a questionnaire at the property and I told them about this. The WiFi is intermittent and the TV doesn't work on the BBC channels, but it was ok on the others.

Very central. Perfect for what we needed.

It was easily accessible, clean and the hosts were very quick to respond to messsges.

Location was brilliant & communication with the host was excellent.
