Thank you so much for hosting us. We absolutely loved our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable! We’re still talking about it and would love to know where to buy one for ourselves! The space felt private and peaceful; we never once felt like we were intruding. We especially enjoyed the spa — we stayed out late, soaking under the stars and watching the sunset over the water. It was magical. In fact, my partner proposed as the sun was setting — it’s a moment I’ll never forget. We were initially worried about traffic, but the location was perfect and meant we avoided all of it. Thank you again for such a beautiful and memorable escape.

Our stay overall was lovely, with a minor confusion around the kitchen setup. We had expected a full kitchen with an oven — that might have been on us for not reading the listing closely enough. There was an alternative provided (a multi-function air fryer oven), that we didn't know how to use. After a bit of Googling, we figured it out. We'd brought ingredients expecting to roast a chicken, but didn’t want to risk messing up the oven — so we pivoted. Honestly, we weren’t too fussed. We didn’t starve, still had a wonderful time, and who doesn’t love homemade burgers and fries for dinner? It all worked out in the end.

The outlook and view are beautiful. Part of a house, so felt safe, but also private. The room is a good size, with everything you need. Lovely place to stay. Love the spa pool.

Soaking in the spa pool over looking the water of the Hauraki Gulf across to the Coromandal Peninsular. Grey herons roosting in the tree beside us. Very peaceful and relaxing
