Beach is really beautiful

Extremely busy beach, paid for sunbeds and umbrella every day only for people to arrive with their own umbrellas and pitch right in front or beside you. You would be unable to move your own bed into the shade as people would be so close to you. If I was going again I wouldn't go in August.

Excellent location very near a beautiful beach. Well equipped and very cool apartment. Very helpful host who responded to any issues very promptly.

I've been to Crete many times and its always a brilliant holiday location because there are so many different locations to stay on the island. However, this accommodation was so good, that I'll be returning there again and again in the future. The apartment is so close to the wonderful sandy beach and to other facilities along the seafront such as restaurants, bars and watersports activities, that it feels like an immersive holiday experience and you'll wish that you stayed for longer. The views are also outstanding with panoramic sea views of Souda Bay and the white mountains in the distance. The apartment itself was very nicely furnished, has good facilities and amazing hosts. What a wonderful place to watch the sunrise, sunset and to enjoy the paradise that is Marathi Beach. Thank you!

This was our second time to Marathi apartments. Not surprised that we were very pleased with everything! Very clean apartment,Eleni the host is very helpful and kind person and airways have for welcome traditional raki and cake ! We also liked the common area downstairs , had a wine evening there relaxing. Also, it was so calming and beautiful that we enjoyed the coffee in the Balcony in the morning and hearing the waves and smell of iodine from the sea ! Thank you, Eleni. We will definitely come back again !

The apartment was equipped with absolutely everything we needed. It is located just a few meters from the small beach of Marathi. The host, Eleni, is very friendly and helpful, welcoming us with home-made pastry and cold raki. We would love to come back for a longer vacation.

The nearby beach gets very crowded during the weekends, it seems to be a very popular location for local tourists. Not all windows have insects nets and using anti-mosquito devices is mandatory.
