English Point Residence Beach Apartments Mombasa

We had an amazing stay at English Point Residence and can’t recommend it enough! I booked it as a surprise for my girlfriend, and although we initially confused it with English Point Hotel, KD warmly welcomed us and took the time to explain everything, which immediately put us at ease. We were given a beautiful beach-facing room with spectacular views that made the experience extra special. The residence is very clean, secure, well-maintained, and perfectly located. KD was an incredible host—always checking in and ensuring we were comfortable. The service overall was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff throughout. A standout moment was the special birthday dinner KD helped organise for us, which made the trip truly unforgettable. It really felt like a home away from home. We would definitely return—10/10!

My stay at this property in Mombasa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded expectations. One of the standout features was the swimming pool located right next to the sea, an absolutely breathtaking experience. Being able to relax in the pool while enjoying the coastal atmosphere created a perfect balance of luxury and tranquility. The neighborhood itself is wonderfully quiet, making it ideal for anyone looking to unwind and escape the usual noise and rush. The peaceful surroundings truly elevate the experience. The staff deserve special mention, they were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Their level of service was outstanding, and it genuinely felt like they went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. I was also very impressed by the security team, they were highly vigilant and reassuring throughout my stay. It gave a strong sense of safety and comfort, which is invaluable when traveling. Overall, the ambience of the property is simply perfect, calm, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mombasa and looking for a top-tier experience. I will definitely be coming back!!!

Unser Auto wurde gewaschen und mit den Hunden durften wir spazieren gehen. Der Pool war schön angelegt. Es war ein ruhiges Haus.

Nach einer 10stündigen Fahrt vom Amboselipark nach Mombasa waren wir total erschöpft und mussten am Appartmenthouse zuerst einmal Regel fürs 1. Verhalten in der Wohnung, 2. Verhalten am Pool, 3. Nutzung des Safes und 4.für die Kaution lesen und unterzeichnen. Die Kaution war total unnötig, da keine hochwertigen Möbel n der Wohnung standen. Das hat uns mindestens 45 Minuten aufgehalten und hat ganz schön genervt. Unseren Tisch im Restaurant mussten wir verschieben und ausgehungert waren wir eh schon. Das hat aber keinen interessiert. Die Regeln waren wichtiger , obwohl über booking alles geregelt ist. Des weiteren baten wir darum, dass die Sitzkissen ausgewechselt oder gewaschen werden, da total verdreckt. Das wurde leider nicht gemacht.

Mega Ausblick von einem schönen großen Balkon auf dem wir top Essen serviert bekamen. Die Palmen am Pool spenden super Schatten, so dass man lange im Wasser bleiben kann. Große und elegant eingerichtete Räume. Unterstützung bei der Organisation von Tagestrips.

The staff and owner were really friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible

The place could do with some fumigation. There were cockroaches at the residence and the mattress had signs of bedbugs which made our stay very uncomfortable. The AC is also only in the bedroom so the donning and sitting areas were unbearable in the Mombasa heat.

The apartment is located in a private villa, it is well guarded, everything is very clean, and there is a magnificent view of the bay. The house is designed in such a way that you do not see your neighbors, and the windows of the bedrooms and the terrace overlook the ocean. Each room had access to a terrace where we could have breakfast in the morning, which we could choose from (Rain, the young and talented chef, always asked us what we wanted, and we even ordered dishes that he did not know about a couple of times, but we found a recipe together and he did an excellent job!). In general, all the staff are as pleasant and polite as possible, it's like you've come home to your family, everything is very kind and cozy. Some emotions were caused by beautiful dogs, very affectionate, well-mannered, intelligent! The villa is close to shopping malls, restaurants and an excellent casino :) If you need something in Mombasa or want to go somewhere, just ask.
