English Point Residence Beach Apartments Mombasa

First of all, I can tell that the building is a well-constructed apartment operated as a hotel. The rooms are furnished with tasteful furniture, which shows the hospitality of the owner. The kitchen is equipped with all dishes, utensils, and appliances, so I was able to enjoy cooking. It is as if you are living in Mombasa, but the Indian Ocean that fills the windows of both the living room and bedroom gives you an extraordinary feeling. I spent all day looking at that beautiful sea. There is a small beach in front of the hotel, and as I looked out from my balcony in the morning, I saw dogs owned by the hotel walking and swimming in the ocean. When I was at a poolside, one of them came up to me. The dog was very friendly, but it did not disturb me as I swam and watched me from the side. Such interaction was very heart warming, and there are many private experiences here, which you can't get in a regular hotel.

Loved the service and hospitality of the staff, amazing view of the Indian Ocean and overlooking the city of Mombasa. KD the host was very welcoming and accommodated our stay. Totally recommend this place to stay if you’re visiting the area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The rooms, bathrooms, the balcony with the sea view. The delicious food prepared by the in house Chef. The very supportive staff. The secure location. The personal attention by the owner Kutub.

Not a dislike. Would have liked air-conditioning in the lounge.

Friendly staff and owner, very spacious apartment and food was good too. Also a very short walk to a small secluded beach in front of the property.

The shower pressure wasn’t great and the Netflix on the TV wasn’t working

Very helpful staff. Always ready to help. Very Quiet Place Spacious and clean. Nice view of the ocean from the balcony and the garden/Swimming pool. Nice sounds of the waves. Delicious breakfast(egg, fruits, yogourt, juice and tea).

Sometime to have someone to open the gate. Access to garden/Swimming pool for elderly people(limited mobility)because of stairs.

We loved English Point Residence!All the staff (special shout out to Magdalena, Caroline and Ryan) and KD were great! KD was very responsive to messages and always available in case we needed anything. The location is perfect, it’s a three minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute cab ride to town center. The place is beautiful, with a huge balcony, you have a perfect ocean view, the apartment is very spacious, the sleeping rooms are all super nice (with the ocean view!), the kitchen is fully equipped. They provide water for your stay and milk on the first day which came in handy for our toddler! We loved the (authentic Swahili) breakfast, appreciated the peace and quiet, as well as the safety in and around the property. Our 3 year old kid loved to play with the dogs and thoroughly enjoyed the pool! I highly recommend this property and will definitely be our to-go to spot in Mombasa!
