Alpaca Inn

It was peaceful, extremely well kept. The flowers and the vegetables gardens were beautiful. The comfort was home from home and everything was available that we needed. The Alpaca’s were an added bonus and it was extra special to feed them.

We loved everything, especially Rita’s hospitality and loving approach to us and life in general.

I have been here before, so I knew exactly what to expect. I wish we had booked more than 1 night, it was not enough. The farmhouse has everything you need and we didn't even have time to mske use of the firepit/braai outside, the pool table or the dart board. Will go back again andcdoend more time.

Everything. Host and staff where extremely attentive. The house and surrounding where pristine and very relaxing. The animals where the stars of the stay, we had donkeys and Alpacas within meters of the house, the the dogs were adorable.

Very nice and friendly owners. The house is beautiful decorated. Location is perfect, beautiful views, have the feeling you are in the country side surrounded by Alpacas, but in the heart of Montagu. Grocery, restaurants, historical houses all on walking distance (less than5 minutes). Must do: feeding the Alpacas!

Die Farm liegt am Rande des Städtchens Montagu, die Lage ist äußerst idyllisch, abgeschieden und sicher. Petrus und Sheba als Angestellte, die für das picobello Aussehen des Hauses und der Ausstattung sowie der Außenanlagen und der Tiere zuständig sind, sind wirklich tolle Menschen. Die Kinder haben täglich die Alpakas streicheln und füttern dürfen, Sheba hat die Wäsche für uns gemacht. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

I get the commercial idea behind it but we were not interested in buying any of the wool products

The outside of the house is so cute and the alpacas adorable. Petrus and Sheiba are very lovely and the dog on the property very sweet. The house is in a nice location to be able to walk to various shops within Montagu.

We visited Alpaca Inn as a couple. I think the "exclusive use" phrasing was misleading as a person was living in the cottages on the side (next to the 3rd bedroom) and so privacy was minimal, while relaxing at the pool she would frequently wave at us while doing her gardening. The furnishings are a little old and not match the very cute exterior although the bed was comfy and aircon appreciated. For a family with kids I'm sure it would be a great spot but for a romantic getaway there are better options

Beautiful location. Safe for children to run free on the farm. Enjoyed interactions with alpacas.
