Alpaca Inn

The location and views were exceptional. The cottage was cosy and filled with all the required amenities Situated within walking distance to the main street and close to all shops and restaurants.

The unit is advertised with fireplaces. However, these fireplaces are only in the bedrooms and not ideal for general heating in the living area during winter nights. The third bedroom is completely separated from the main dwelling.

The farmstay's atmosphere is warm and inviting, creating a home-away-from-home feel. The rgreat entertainment space, and family-friendly setup made for a memorable stay. Montagu itself is a charming location, and the central location of the farm serves as an excellent base to explore the area.

I loved the location near the charming restaurants of Montagu, the charm of the place, the very warm welcome, their flexibility, and the fact that we could go feed the alpacas, petting them was a real plus.

What I liked less was that there wasn't a lot of light in the dining room. It's very, very dark. There also weren't enough candles to create ambiance.

Location, Alpacas, view of the mountains, peaceful, safe. Unique and charming/quirky decor with echos of decades past along with fully equipped modern kitchen and quality appliances.
