Good location, everything you may need during a holiday stay in terms of all the necessary appliances , cutlery utensils and cookware. Balcony well supplied with enough chairs and table and braai station. Wifi signal strong.

Dstv could use a bigger bouquet package maybe?

Our stay was so terrible that when we wanted to leave half a week early the host offered us a different flat in another location (with the impliction we should not leave a bad review). I appreciated the sentiment, but despite it being a much nicer location and a larger place, it was in a much worse condition.

Just stay away. I don't usually leave such extreme reviews so please take this seriously! The host tries to emotionally blackmail you into not leaving a bad review, which is why the overall reviews look good. She basically admitted that the place is run down and that she is trying to sell it and doesn't want to put any more time or money into improvements. The location is terrible - it is surrounded by noisy clubs, the surrounds look like the city centre in Johannesburg, at night there is noise from industrial size generators and nightly garbage pickup and garbage pickers who fight in the streets. I had to call the police on our last night about an assult taking place in the street under the balcony at 2am. The beach is not what you would expect from a blue flag and many of the decent shops and restaurants in the area are closing down. The flat itself is run down. The ceiling fans are dilapidated and hardly work and the aircons are on a pre-paid electricity meter that you have to pay for yourself! The aircon in the main bedroom doesn't work. The dstv is the cheapest package available. The wifi was patheticly slow and must be on a night time only deal, because it doesn't work in the day. All the flats on that level use the wifi in that flat so people gather in front of the door in the hallway to get signal. The bed was uncomfortable, the sleeper couch is beyond old and uncomfortable to sit on, and the bathroom extremely moldy. The kitchen utensils, although well stocked, look like they are someones old mismatched castouts. The bedside tables in the main bedroom have broken drawers. You are given a ludicrously long checklist of things that should be in the flat on arrival (almost 10 pages) and the entire flat is covered in unfriendly notices about fines you can possibly get (for instance, pest control fees if you leave behind dishes). You have to take out your own trash when you leave, which is a petty thing to ask paying guests to do!

Everything is perfect..beach front

Going to this Facility was easier than I thought, apart from using my GPS the owner also shared additional directions through our WhatsApp The place was clean, well organized and easily accessible. Since it was after major holidays the beach was quiet, maybe a suitable time to take a break.

The loadshedding is not welcoming, as it disrupts your plans. Also internet connection only available from 23h00 till 18h00,

The location was very good. The owner was welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very neat with everything in place. It was a home away from home and we enjoyed our stay.

Since the place is located next to the busy place , there was too much noise from the road.

Unfortunately a local restaurant down the road becomes a shebeen type party at night, carrying on until well after midnight when the garbage truck comes and collects the bins full of glass bottles. The noise from the party goers screaming in the street, coupled with the sound of glass breaking and knocking together is an unpleasant thing to wake up to in the middle of the night.
