DDM Studio - O paraíso do Sítio da Nazaré

I had a great stay in one of the ocean-view units in March 2026. The views are absolutely spectacular—something you never quite get used to…and the bed was very comfortable. The unit itself had everything I needed for a relaxed and pleasant visit. I noticed a few comments in other reviews that are worth reinforcing or reacting to. First, the directions and check-in instructions were incredibly detailed and easy to follow. I had no trouble finding the building or accessing the unit. Second, the property includes several units, some with balconies some with full ocean views, and others on lower levels with more limited outlooks. Be sure to click on the exact unit you’re booking the photos are accurate and clearly show what you can expect. Last, Right in front of the building is a charming cobblestone pathway. During the day, you’ll see people wandering by, hoping to catch a glimpse of the same stunning views you get to enjoy all day long. As you might expect from those views, the property is perched above the main part of Nazaré, in the upper town (Sítio). It’s generally quieter up here, with a more local feel. There are still some great restaurants and small markets nearby, but without the hustle and bustle of the beach area below. If you want to head down to the lower town (Praia), there’s usually a funicular (ascensor) connecting the two. It happened to be closed during my visit, but it wasn’t an issue as you can walk down in about 15 relaxed minutes (and back up in about the same), or take a quick Bolt ride for around €3.50 in just a few minutes. Overall, I loved my stay and would happily return.

Beautifully thought out studio with brilliant views. I loved the decor and the space felt fresh and comfortable.

The managing agent communication was poor. I texted a few times to share arrival.time but it wasn't acknowledged. It would have been very helpful to have guidance that the studio is up on the hill and a lot of steps to climb. I was there for a short stay with a small backpack so not a huge issue but it would have been a problem if i had to carry luggage and noone had told me to get an uber up the hill with the cable car out of action.

Location is very good

The pictures and description do not show the real booking as it is just a room without windows but with a half glass door( it is called an apartment with sea view). The property itself consists of at least 15 rooms and if you are lucky, you will have a nice apartment with sea view but if you are not lucky, you will have a room without a window and without any source of heating. Air conditioning was broken and it was very wet and cold inside.
