Saltwater Newquay

The apartment was advertised as having an outside patio area, however we couldn’t use this as there was no outside furniture. We contacted the owner to ask where the outside furniture was kept and was abruptly told it had been stolen and would not be replaced basically anytime soon! Not our problem, we are paying customers and if an outside area is advertised we should be able to use it, an important point to us was having an outside area to sit and enjoy the sun, have a morning coffee or evening drink, we also took our dog so again not to be able to use this area was important. The patio doors could net be kept open as there was not a way to secure them without them slamming shut, and as this was the only access to the property this was also an issue as the apartment was so hot. The most significant point not mentioned in the booking was that the “Patio area” backed directly and opened out on to the car park for 2 apartment blocks, the view was lovely and privacy was Nil!!

Room was lovely, very clean and laid out well. Location was very good, could walk to center. Easy to find and the key, would definitely come here again.

Only thing was there was a cover missing on the ceiling exposing some pipe work, next to the fire alarm, maybe some salt and pepper should be provided as well.

Lovely clean apartment.

No problem for us as like walking, however around 25 minute walk into town.

Big apartment, easy check-in with a lock box, convenient parking included. Nice to have the kitchen and lounge area. Good value for money.

It was a bit hot in the apartment and we struggled to get the temperature down.

We had an amazing stay! The location is exceptional, located in a very quiet area, perfect for relaxing. The flat itself is modern, extremely spacious, and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay away from home. It truly gives you that feeling of wanting to live there forever. Communication from Sophia was excellent, with clear and helpful instructions throughout. The flat is also very close to Pentire Headland and Lewinnick Lodge, where you can enjoy some of the most stunning sunsets we’ve ever seen. Thank you, Sophia, for being such a wonderful host!
