Duomo Luxury Apartment Orvieto

apartment was directly looking out on the main piazza right at the cathedral. Loved having breakfast in the morning looking out at amazing view. Apartment has lots of character , two big bedrooms and decent sized single. Its actually much nicer than in the pics. Loved Orvieto and our stay in the apartment. We went in July and were surprised how quite Orvieto was but it was great to relax before the madness of Rome. Would defo recommend.

Air conditioning would be nice but we knew that before we travelled so can't complain

Has to be the most incredible location we have come across in many many stays all over Italy. Huge apartment, clean and stylish and immediately in front of one of the most incredible cathedrals in Italy.

We had a fantastic stay at the Duomo Luxury Apartment in Orvieto. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located—right on the square with the stunning Duomo just outside the bedroom window. Waking up to that view each morning was truly unforgettable. The interior was spacious, very clean, and tastefully decorated. Beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. Being steps away from great food and coffee made the experience even more convenient and enjoyable. The staff was helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The only thing to note—there is no air-conditioning in the apartment. We didn’t realize this when booking, but they did provide fans, and with the windows open at night, the temperature became quite pleasant. That said, adding some form of AC would really enhance the experience, especially during the warmer months, as we noticed other nearby apartments offer it. Overall, we loved our time here and would absolutely stay again. The location, comfort, and charm of this apartment make it a great choice for anyone visiting Orvieto.

Lack of HVAC

The apartment is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. You can’t beat being on the piazza with the Duomo out your window in the middle of everything a visitor would want.

While the apartment was impeccable, it definitely gave off a hotel-sterile “don’t touch me, I’m precious!” vibe. Creature comforts were stripped down to the bare minimum, and the kitchen, despite having an excellent stovetop, was devoid of useful tools and useless for meal preps beyond sandwiches (we like to shop in local markets and prep our own meals on lengthy visits). Also, if you are sensitive to the sound of happy teenagers hanging out in the piazza until midnight, be forewarned: they do and they will.

The location is excellent, and the apartment is spacious and very beautiful.

One downside is that the kitchen could be better equipped for those who enjoy cooking — it would be great to have wine glasses, pans, and sharper knives.
