Baglio Reale Apartments

The location was great. The little shared courtyard was a beautiful oasis. The scent of wisteria in the evenings was lovely. It was very well-placed for the Norman cathedral and palace, as well as for bus rides to Monreale. It was relatively easy to get to from the main city station: a 25 minute walk, or ten minute bus ride. The self-catering facilities were very good: olive oil, salt, and pepper were provided, and we had everything we needed to cook the produce we bought from one of the Palermo street markets. The interior was nice, clean, and comfortable. The amazing pasticceria just round the corner was an added bonus. All the staff were welcoming, helpful, and exceptionally patient, especially when we had a problem with the room key. We were unfamiliar with the particular style of locking-mechanism for our room and could not work out the logic of how it opened, which unfortunately led to us being locked out for a bit. It is possible that other visitors might find the lock tricky - but, so far as we could tell, our apartment was the only one of the four with this particular mechanism. However, Gaia and her team were very understanding and went out of their way to resolve the issue promptly. We are very grateful to them for their help, and for welcoming us to Palermo generally.

a lovely courtyard to relax in after exploring Palermo with a delightful wisteria pergola. All of Palermo’s central attractions are with in easy walking distance but quiet at night. Clean, comfortable and with everything you could need. Lots of information and maps provided. Close to cafes restaurants and supermarkets. Gaia and Samia were amazing hosts- very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Location was excellent and the host was extremely helpful and her assistant met me on site and was more than accommodating and gave me very useful directions and recommendations

It was just a pleasure. The apartment was clean and very comfy... and that terrace was my favourite. Everything was working as it should. I reccommend this accomodation with no doubts.
