Al Pozzo Bianco

We liked the room and location.

We followed Roberto’s instructions and parked where he suggested. Roberto lives above the rental, and he had previously been friendly waving to us from the balcony. On the day we were leaving, we went outside and our car was gone. It had been towed to make room for a Saturday market. There were signs in place after we had parked two days prior, but given the town was so small, we never used our car again or went back to the lot. We were incredibly stressed a we had our flight home that day. Roberto REFUSED any help to use. He ignored my calls. He wouldn’t come out to the balcony. He just said (translated) “I didn’t know market was starting again”, and then when I asked to help as we don’t speak Italian and I didn’t know how to find our car he said “I won’t talk to the police” and NEVER responded to me again. He refused to help or even apologize. We had to lean on the goodness of market vendors to get a taxi and figure out how to get our car. It was a horrific experience. Taxi and tow fee cost us 190 euro.

The apartment is newly refurbished and very clean and comfortable. It’s located in the centre of Orvieto very close to numerous bars and restaurants and the Main Street with shops. You can park right in front of the apartment.It costs 1 euro per hour and it’s free between 8pm and 8am. Highly recommended.

Lovely ground floor flat in the perfect location! How often can you wheel your bicycle into an apartment directly off the street?! Wonderful host.

No kettle..but that is not unusual in Italy!

The location is great and we loved the bright clean living/dining/ kitchen nook area. The bathroom was also bright and clean.

We had trouble finding the place and communicating with the host, although he was very kind and patient with us, we were on our own to find it.

Wonderful ground floor apartment in a terrific, central location. Saturday market, stores and restaurants are steps from the apartment. Plenty of room and well equipped. Recommend

Host assisted us in parking immediately across from the stay.
