Cozy Mother-in-Law Suite

- Great location (walking distance to Chesapeake Bay, 30 mins from VA beach, 1 hr to Williamsburg) - Bed was SO comfortable and soft - Great, clean, and roomy shower - Host was great at communication. Provided the information we needed before Check In. Can be reached easily and replies fairly quickly - Patio’s cute, we didn’t get a chance to use it though - Great value for a brief stay

- Not thoroughly cleaned. Had to sweep the entire floor on arrival, very dusty - Cockroaches. Arrived at around 10:30 pm and was greeted by a cockroach on the chair, spent 5 mins chasing it to kill it. Next night, same thing but with 2 cockroaches. - Writing this a week later & my cockroach bite is still swollen and really itchy

Location and price...but you get what you pay for

Grass needed cut...discovered bed bug spray as soon as we walked in(didn't see any)part of the privacy gate falling off(rusty nails sticking out.Missing light fixture in the shower,no linen service(all week on 2 towels and wash cloths but we had our own for the beach)no room cleaning...it was a bed with a roof...there was a hotel right up the street for $70 a night but figured I'd already paid and would not get the $ back,but it was considered.Permanent tenant was awesome and helpful,but didn't make up for the shoddy room.I wish booking .com would inspect these places

Clean, easy drive into downtown Philadelphia, exactly as advertised.

Overnight parking seemed concerning but my car full of camping gear was fine, so likely just my rural self in the big city

We liked to be able to stay there alone and the convinient location
