Cozy Mother-in-Law Suite

Good location. Easy access. Decent parking. Good for our small pet with fenced yard.

There were no bathroom toiletries...... for less than 10 dollars at the dollar store owner could have stocked the shower with body wash and shampoo. The shower drain had visible hair on it. Also for less than $20, the owner could buy ceramic plates and metal silverware from a thrift store. This would be preferable over the plastic bowls and plastic "silverware". By adding these few things it would be a great place rather than just OK.

Location is convenient to travel around. Especially near our son Naval school.

Everything is good, except The adapter in the restroom didn’t work. AC is a bit loud. The wind was strong during our stay, blown the screen door, we couldn’t close .

It was quiet, cozy and close to the beach.

A couple lights didn’t work, the sheets were too small for the bed, the screen door had some issues latching and the other residents didn’t properly dispose of their trash so it ended up in the yard.

Chair was broken

Microwave and small fridge was good, some utensils, cups, plates. The shower was beautiful, bed comfortable

There was only 2 towels for a 3 night stay for 2 people. Normally I don't care and reuse to save as much as I can but there was no option for back up in case something happened like an accidental spill or something. The floors didn't have much insulation at all so was freezing especially in bathroom at all times. I believe on a Saturday night there was some neighbors playing country music loudly for hours until pretty late. Someone at some point went and told them something (not sure what but sounded like a complaint) Not sure what direction but it sounded right outside my windows made it hard to sleep. Very bare bones which is fine, you get what you pay for. Oh, and my boyfriend left his keys behind. Completely boyfriend's fault for leaving them but the annoying part was he was willing to drive back the 3 hrs to get them as he was sure they were there. it was a 5 day long hassle to get them back after being told they weren't there that same day by the owner, being told the following day that they *were* there but by then both of us had work and were unable to drive there so owner said he could overnight ship them. Also by then had to get car replacement key which was $200.... Well it took 3 extra days to actually get them to an office to ship. :(

No keys. It was a coded lock. Arrival was a little confusing but it was after dark. I called the owner and he talked me through parking and entry. He was very kind and accommodating on every level. The bed was comfy the bathroom new with a big tiled shower. Microwave and fridge very clean as was the entire space. Let me say Thank You to the owner for his help and patience.

Only one small snag. The storm door was damaged (?) and would not close. The first night had a rain and wind storm and the door banged all night. I came up with a way to "tie" the door so it wouldn't flap but that was temporary of course. Really a small inconvenience and did not alter the entire experience.
