Bohol Sojourn Villa Alona

Our stay at Bohol Sojourn Villa was fantastic! The room and bathroom were both large, modern, and clean. As digital nomads, we required a desk to work and the hosts provided this quickly. The wifi was reliable during our entire stay of 10 days, so we had no issues with working (and streaming!). The hosts were lovely and kindly picked us up from the airport. We enjoyed our free breakfast every morning, especially as finding a decent breakfast has been challenging in the Philippines. The place is also very close to the town on motorbike and also had some restaurants and shops within walking distance. Highly recommend this place when visiting Bohol!

The staff was nice, the room was big

Very noisy: just next to the big road and a bar who ended the karaoke at 2:30 am

The location was really nice, beach a short tuk tuk away. The owner made us feel at home! Modern design and everything was functional!

The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Only a few minutes away from Alona

The pool was disgusting doesn’t look like the pictures at all. The worse part of my stay was to hear crying and barking all day long those poor dogs in cages in the house next to the hotel. This broke my heart and honesty i didn’t enjoyed my stayed at all. At night doggies don’t bark but you can hear the music in the bar in front of the hotel until sometimes 4 am! Wouldn’t come back.

It was quite a long walk to the beach but fine if you rent a scooter or make use of tricycles/motorbikes that pick you up
