La Locanda del Cedro

We had a fantastic stay at the property. Dario is an incredible host, always ready to help and quick to respond. The accommodation is amazing, featuring a spacious terrace, being well-stocked with everything we needed, and clean. The train station is nearby, which is convenient, though the walking path lacks separate roads and streetlights. There's a garage available, and the location is perfect for easy access to the highway so renting a car is highly recommended

Everything was perfect. The owner picked me up from the airport at my request on a Friday evening. The pictures represent the reality. The apartment is cosy and very clean. There's also a huge private terrace. The view is fantastic. We didn't miss anything. There's also an air conditioner in the bedroom to heat the place or to cool it. Right outside there's a pizzeria/polleria/panineria/kebab place called Le Torri. The food is amazing and the owners are really kind too. Transportation is easy by the bus. Area is quiet. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at La Locanda. The flat is very cozy, new, bright and comfortable. Very good location, only few minutes to the train station and the seaside is also not very far away. Nice view in the terrace, just a bit sad that we didn't have a chance to enjoy it, because the weather was not that warm. Dario was super helpful with everything. Biggest recommendations!

The only thing that walls are really thin and we could hear loudly neighbours. But as we spent most of the day out, it was not a very big issue for us.

The host, Dario, was very helpful and kind. The parking space was secure and we loved the view.

Lovely apartment, in a great location for easy access to Palermo and surrounding areas. 5 minutes walk to the railway station and 8 minutes into the centre of sferracavallo. We chose to stay here to be out of the wonderful chaos of Palermo but near enough to get there whenever we wanted. It was a great choice. Dario (host) was really friendly and so helpful with all our questions.

It was great. No problems

Very close to transport, bus and train, got train to Palermo City and the airport, got bus to Mondello beach, Village and beach within a ten minute walk. Dario the host was very accomdating, and gave great tips on where to eat and places to visit. Pizza restaurent directly under the apartment and food was lovely. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Seven days where depending on your mood you coul enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Sferracavallo, or travel into the hustle and bustle of Palermo. Would stay again.

Nothing to complain about

Room seemed nice and the communication was easy and flexible at first. Also there was a washing machine. Host seemed nice and reliable until the discussion of the damages caused.

We had to cancel our Italy trip one week early due to the bed bug infestation. Most of our money for this apartment itself we got back, but no damages whatsoever were compensated. We asked for a partial compensation of the damages caused (specifically the alternative hotel cost of 150 € we had to take for one night after sleeping only a few hours in the car the night before when we found the bugs). Total kill count: 7, Total number on site: Who knows...

The apartment was very nicely equipped with good taste. The breakfast and dinner on terrace with nice view of mountains was so pleasant. The place was quiet, just few minutes walk from train station Palermo-Sferacavallo and also to the beach it was a short walk. Nearby is a Palermo popular holiday area Mondello with beautiful sand beaches. In the same building downstairs you could buy for really good money very tasty pizza or chicken for evening dinner on the terrace.

Very nice and cosy place with a view on the mountain and huge terrace. Seaview restaurants in 5-7 minutes walk and helpful and friendly host. The flat has all the necessary things and secured parking place is provided - that is very important in Palermo! Highly recommended.
