La Loggia dei Re

The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed - having two bathrooms was amazing! Our host, Ennio, had some amazing recommendations and was friendly and courteous. The location is really central, a 5 minute walk from the excitement of Via Maqueda and a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral.

The road is cobbled and quite difficult if you're carrying suitcases - I'd suggest packing light as the apartment had a lot of the stuff we needed (shampoo and conditioner, basic cooking stuff, maps and guidebooks). We occasionally heard some noise from outside but I suspect this happens everywhere in Palermo!

Very clean, spacious, centrally located and secure. Delia and Ennio have supplied an apartment where you feel you are living in your own home. There is absolutely nothing missing and our week there was unbelievably comfortable due to their kindness, help when required and generosity with their time.

Location was fantastic. Hosts were easy to communicate with and set up a taxi service on departure. Apartment is large and spacious and easily accommodated the three of us.

Bathroom cleanliness of both bathrooms was an issue for us. On arrival, we found the toilet in one of the bathrooms not properly cleaned. I reached out to the host who said the cleaner would be sent back to the apartment while we were exploring the city. We came back and found the bathrooms in the same state—dirty toilets and unclean showers. Luckily, there were cleaning supplies in the apartment that we used. On a less significant note, the towel fixture and shower handle were also broken in the second bathroom. The night before departure we received a whatsapp message from the hosts asking us not to report our findings in a review. This was even more disappointing—not only did we bring an issue to the attention of the hosts, but the issues went unaddressed AND we were asked not to report back to future potential guests our honest findings. I personally would not recommend this apartment or the hosts.

Loved EVERYTHING !!! Ennio and Delia were most wonderful, helping us with places to see and eat. Can't praise them enough for their kindness, even arranging a taxi to the airport. The apartment was a home away from home, with everything you could possibly need. Big rooms with extremely comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Palermo. Don't look anywhere else. I will surely come back again.

This place is perfect for visiting Palermo. It us bang in the Center but quiet. Owner extreamly helpful, he is like a guide. Trust him!

When you stay at La Loggia dei Re, you are not only getting a spacious and fully equipped apartment with great views of the old town, you are getting a devoted personal guide to your Palermo stay. We were to arrive way past midnight due to the flight schedule. The owner got in touch on the day of your arrival in order to arrange for our seamless entry to which he later attended, and was happy to answer questions we had about where to get breakfast the next day or go for lunch. During our stay, we could always text to ask where to go or how to get there. We felt a real sense of engagement and the will to make sure we get the best experience from our stay in Palermo. This just was the most enchanting travel experience in many years which we will cherish and remember, grazie Delia and Ennio! Oh, and when you stay at La Loggia do not forget to drop by the Capo gelateria just down the lane one minute from the flat - great ice cream and sweet customer approach.

The apartment was perfect for our stay, comfy beds and walking distance from everywhere in the city. The host was very responsive over messages throughout our stay and was really helpful in providing recommendations. Would definitely recommend staying here !
