The host, Aurelio, was amazing. His communication with us was great and he went above and beyond to make us comfortable. When we locked ourselves out he came from his home straight away to help, still smiling and concerned for us. The property itself was very good with a small kitchenette and lovely bathroom as well as a very comfortable bed. We also liked the neighbourhood- more locals than tourists , close to the bus and train stations but still an easy walk to the centre of Palermo. It is also very close to one of Palermo’s fantastic markets.

The host (Aurelio) is a true gem, open to give you local advice and makes you feel like a true "Palermitan". The location is perfect to visit the city and all its attractions. The room "small apartment" was big, modern, very clean and comfortable. We look forward to visiting Aurelio again :).

Nice place, close to the town centre and train station

Great place, clean and comfy. Positioned in a great location, near the entrance of Ballaró market 10 minutes on foot from the main attractions. The host Aurelio was really welcoming and nice and recommended a lot of nice places to eat and to visit.

I have only one suggestion to give: the area is a bit loud so if someone has trouble sleeping I suggest using some earplugs.

Loved everything. Exactly as advertised

The spaciousness, comfort of the rooms (bedroom and sitting room area), the fact that there is a sitting room with a semi-Ottoman sofa, a balcony for drying clothes... and a fridge that was quite filled with water and other beverages. Aurelio was also extremely informative and helpful with advice on restaurants and places of interest. Will definitely come back to stay!

Host: The owner met us as arranged perfectly on time with keys. He offered us an amazing gift and wine to celebrate my anniversary with my GF. He offered us will all the necessary information and guidance in the city thru both mobile and during the trip. He was so caring to make our stay so comfortable. He generously allowed us to leave our luggage safely in his house after check out during the gap hours between our flight and checkout time, so we can enjoy the city comfortably. Location: The location is amazing in the very historic center with all the famous sightseeing and restaurants and local markets. 20 minutes max on foot to the commercial center or sea port. So well connected by buses if you want to reach Mondello Beach in 40 minutes or 20 minutes by taxi. House: The house is exactly what you see in the photos. So clean, comfortable, and spacious. Fully equipped for all that you need for a stay. Coffee, water, and towels are all there. Also fully equipped mini kitchen for a lovely breakfast or soft dinner. You would not need anything more than that offered as all the essential dining nights will always be in the city restaurants. There is a balcony with a lovely view and a place to dry clothes in case you needed easy laundry. House is also well heated and air conditioning is available. The bathroom is so clean and sufficient for vacation use, with mirror lighting and a hairdryer. Price: The price is perfect just for the quality and service you get in comparison to the surrounding houses or hotels. Way better than a bed and breakfast or full-board hotel. Who wants full board where you can eat out in Sicily ?! Highly Recommended!
