The apartment was more or less as described. The location was good and the apartment was clean.

Several comments, please. First, the check in was fine, but very impersonal. I would have preferred the check in information the day before arriving, but it was provided the morning we arrived. The major issue we had was that we specifically rented this apartment as a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit as we were two couples. Unfortunately, our bathroom did not have any hot water for 2 nights, this was not what we paid for. We could have rented a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit for less money. The hot water issue was no one's fault, but I have asked the owner to reimburse me a small amount for the problem. After all, if I only paid 85% of the asking price, I doubt that would have been acceptable. I have not yet received a response, if possible, I will update my review later with the result of that request/issue. Lastly, most of our communication was by WhatsApp, which generally is fine. But, in this case, with an issue, I would have preferred to have our communication on the booking site itself. Update: After discussing our concerns regarding the hot water issue, the host and I agreed on a modest adjustment of the final payment. I appreciate the host's flexibility, and want my review to reflect this. The apartment was fine, a great location, clean, etc. I have no idea what the problem was, but trust that this will not be an issue in the future. Given that resolution, I recommend this apartment for a visit to Palermo.

Very nice, the room and the location was very good, the breakfast and restaurant was perfect. Friendly staff. 10/10
