Recaredo Apartments

Step back in time to a grand era surrounded by classic antiques and huge windows. This apartment is like a set from a European movie right down to the romantic terrace, 12-foot ceilings and marble floors. There are two living areas, one by the street and one in the more private rear of the apartment (with its own patio). The three bedrooms are huge, the main one (by the street) connected to its own bathroom and the two in the rear of the apartment connected to a newly remodeled large one. In the middle is a glass-roofed portico with lots and lots of light. We didn't need air conditioning that time of year, but it's available if necessary. Staying here was a check off the bucket list. Added bonus? Jose, the owner, an MIT-educated physicist whose father collected the antiques while working for Spanish royalty.

The kitchen was beautifully stocked with dishes and pans, but some oil and spices and coffee pods would have been nice to have.

Beautiful elegant and spacious apartment - perfect for us (two couples) and ideally placed for a week in Seville. Everything we wanted to do or see was in walking distance. The apartment is on a main road and yet is is calm and quiet. We loved having room to sit comfortably and have a separate dining area. The artworks are lovely and interesting, and we really didn’t want to leave! Our host was available when needed, responsive and friendly. All in all we felt fortunate to spend a week in this handsome apartment.

No major issues - if travelling outside the sunnier months, remember houses can be cool/cold in afternoon and evenings so bring something warm to wear.

water in the showers could have been hotter since it was chilly in Seville the weekend we visited .

The location was wonderful inside was very quiet in spite of being a busy street out front !the building itself was beautiful with lots of tile and wrought iron work and the manager/owner was very helpful and pleasant

Could add a Drip-style coffee maker for American visitors

Its prime area and a good location. The house is well furnished. Checking in/ out is very simple.

1 room is nice and spacious the other room is slightly smaller. A few things in the kitchen like washing machine liquid, salt, pepper the basics would have been much helpful.

Jose was awesome. We really enjoyed him and his wife and talking to them and their apartment.

Nothing

The apartment was charming, historic and well decorated. Our host was friendly and helpful. We clogged the sink and it was repaired quickly.

We had the second floor which had 4 levels of stairs. When we arrived it was dark with no air conditioning, but Jose responded within 5 minutes. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels and coffee.
