Mount Bolton Apartment

I loved everything about the place how friendly the owner is and they left a starter pack for when we arrived the owner kids were also lovely and would ask my daughter to come out and and let her play with some off there stuff and being greeted by there 4 dog every day looking for treat of use

Big bedrooms, basic food left for guests in kitchen, and an airfryer- very handy!

Misleading/omission of important information on booking.com by hosts. Like another reviewer said, no indication on the website of the nature of the property. The apartment was above an active horse stable/riding school!! Surely they should inform people of this beforehand- not everyone would think that was enticing or charming- also lots of dogs around. It was very noisy at night because of the horses. I live on a farm anyway so none of this interested me or bothered my sleep patterns but I believe I paid too much for a 'busman's holiday'. The host needs to be more transparent. Also, because they do not provide the address on the site, one cannot check themselves beforehand what it looks like, again it seems that they are deliberately misleading the guests. It was overpriced for this reason. They should not be advertising this on Booking.com. It really is Air B&B type accommodation only.

Very spacious plenty of space in the apartment, well laid out, good location short distance too Waterford city

There was a horse stable under the apartment which was fine, until you hear banging and gates opening at all hours of the night, the bathrooms are abit tight, there was a saucepan and spoons dirty

The location was great Having 2 separate bedrooms and separate beds for my children was good

The noise, our bedroom must have been beside where the horses sleep, we were unable to sleep due to horses neighing, whinnying and kicking things through the night. The roof was very low and my son hit his head numerous times during the stay. The bathrooms are incredibly small and nobody could use the shower as they are tiny, which was disappointing as my son was playing hockey and could have really used the shower. The bedrooms have no curtains on the window, so when we did eventually get some sleep you were woken up when the sun rose. The phone to use the electric gate didn't work until Saturday and I kept having to phone to get in and out , on the Saturday morning nobody answered my call and was over 15 minutes before I could actually leave.

Location is good; close to both Waterford and Carrick-on-Suir, but in the country. Clean and comfortable.

Would be nice to have access to laundry facilities; showers are small and with low ceilings. Biggest issues were not understanding technology differences between US and Ireland.

Lovely spacious apartment. Bread milk and eggs there for us on arrival was a lovely touch.

It came as a shock to find the apartment was above a stable , it wouldn't have been a problem if id known as ive already stated the apartment was fab . My daughter is allergic to horses, so it would have been nice if it was mentioned in description that the place is at a working stable and horse riding center.

Fresh milk and other basics provided in the kitchen, all facilities provided for cooking and well equipped kitchen. Lovely garden and play area for the kids.
