Starhost - CHEZ MAMIE

Great location, very close to the center and to a metro station, quiet area and spacious apartment. We had weekly cleaning for the duration of our stay.

The furniture is noticeably more dated than in the pictures. Also, the lift of the building doesn’t work unfortunately.

De badkamer vond ik niet heel netjes. Het was schoon maar de kitrandjes van de douch mochten een opfrisbeurt krijgen van mij.

The host was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t have been more helpful.

Typical of any small Italian Pension there were some steps to the elevator. No big deal.

Nous avons l’habitude de passer nos étés depuis plusieurs années à Salerno. L’emplacement était bien situé pour nous qui étions véhiculés (parking payant dans la rue) et à proximité du centre-ville à pied. L’hébergement est spacieux pour 2 personnes, était propre et au calme. La procédure d’arrivée et de départ sont simples, Alessandro est un hôte disponible et réactif. Nous avons pleinement profité de Salerno et du Cilento.

L’équipement de la cuisine est simple, pour nous qui aimons cuisiner, plus d’équipements et de fonctionnalités auraient été appréciés, d’autant plus pour des longs séjours.

It was a big apartment and an easy walk to the old quarter.Great pizza 3 doors away.

This is on a very busy and noisy road. Also being an apartment with cooking facilities maybe have some oil or other cooking ingredients would be a plus.

Located a short walk into the city of Salerno- great location for the price. Very well presented apartment with lovely bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Easy handover of keys for apartment, which suited a late flight arrival.

Neighbours were quite loud at times, and noise from street due to construction woke us early. Pull out sofa in living room needs some attention- a few stains noticed, and musty duvet in storage unit.

Wonderful experience

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and in a great location. It’s just a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and many great restaurants, bars and shops are close by. But the apartment is tucked away on a smaller street and is quiet compared to some larger streets nearby. The mattress is very comfortable! The kitchen features a Nespresso machine and ample pods are provided. We cooked some nice meals on the stove top as we didn’t want to eat out every night during a long 5 week trip in Italy. The hosts are responsive, hospitable, respectful and provide ample information for your needs during your stay. We stayed 6 nights at this apartment while also working remotely. The WiFi worked well if you need to do some work during your stay!

The pillows could be updated, but the mattress is great!
