Seaside on Fourth

Location was great, close to the beach and town with all things needed - restaurants, shops, groceries. Clean and tidy unit with a lovely balcony and outlook.

Great location within easy walking distance to town centre and the beach. Good wi-fi and decent kitchen area with sufficient crockery and equipment. Good layout with a sizeable balcony and decent shade from around 1.00pm.

A garage in a block was included with the property but the roller shutter door was not working. The agents did rectify this quickly but the mechanism was clearly old and coming to the end of its useful life. There was no toilet brush provided. Initially it appeared there was one but on attempting to use it there was only a handle with no brush attached. Again the agents quickly remedied this. In the main bedroom only one bedside lamp was evident. On further investigation there was another in the cupboard but this was broken. Also in the bedroom there has clearly been as issue with the sliding fanlight rattling in the wind. I believe a previous occupier has tried to fix this by wedging the cardboard from a takeaway meal between the two panels. In the living area the dimmer light switch was cracked. This was reported to the agents. Whilst the facilities are good the bedroom carpets are old and dirty, the lounge suite is dated and the apartment requires decoration because the walls and doors also looked dirty. In current condition the decorations do not meet modern standards/expectations.

I did have to work and the internet was not working. I tried to call the team, however they couldn't get it working either. The washing machine and dryer kept tripping the power board.

It was all really straight forward and accessible

While the kitchen was well equipped, dishwashing liquid, bin liners and dishwashing powder was not supplied.

Fantastic location Quiet

I grew up spending 2 weeks over Xmas every 21 years at #2...at "Wanderell". This brief stay was lovely reminisce.

Lounge had a few stains and so did carpet. There were also ants inside near the sliding door to verandah

When we arrived the wi-fi was not working or the tv. There was no remote control for the garage door and the light in the garage was not functioning. There wasn’t a Sun umbrella over the table on the deck as shown in the Booking.com website The bedding and furnishings were not the standard we expected and some cupboards contained personal items
