A Perfect Retreat in the Heart of Palermo I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful apartment in Palermo that I booked through an online platform, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I entered the apartment, I was blown away by its spaciousness, incredible mountain views, and unbeatable location in the city center. The apartment boasted a well-equipped kitchen, allowing me to prepare my own meals with ease. The modern appliances, ample counter space, and a variety of cookware made cooking a pleasure. The big sitting room was a real highlight of the apartment. With its comfortable furnishings and plenty of space, it provided a perfect retreat to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Palermo. Whether I wanted to read a book, watch a movie, or simply admire the breath-taking view, the sitting room offered the ideal setting. The apartment itself was tastefully decorated and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a home away from home. The bed was cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the bathroom was modern and clean. Lastly, I would like to commend the host for their excellent communication and hospitality. They were readily available to answer any questions and provide recommendations, ensuring that my stay in Palermo was memorable and hassle-free. In conclusion, my stay at this apartment in Palermo was absolutely fantastic. With its well-equipped kitchen, spacious sitting room, breathtaking mountain views, and central location with a market nearby, it offered everything I could have wished for. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a perfect retreat in the heart of Palermo.

The apartment is in excellent condition - well designed, modern, new furniture, clean and comfortable. Air Con was good and most welcome even in October (go for this over open windows at night as there are plenty of mosquitoes). The apartment is in a modern block with good sound insulation and in a quiet street. Lovely bathroom - shower was hot and powerful, plus toiletries and nice quality towels and a window that opened. The bed was comfortable and a good size, there is loads of wardrobe and drawer space. There is a balcony in the bedroom and main room - both with city views. WiFi worked well all the time. The kitchen was good and basics like salt, pepper, oils and some tea/coffee and a bottle of water was all available on arrival. There were good facilities like an iron, hairdryer, coffee machine, airer for the laundry etc.. The host was friendly and accommodating. The location was good with nearby restaurants, ATM, post office and supermarket, and about a 10 min walk to the airport bus stop (Politeama). It's about 20 minute walk to the old town and 30 minute walk to Central Station but the streets can be a bit confusing (we never got hold of a map and EE let me down on the data roaming). Palermo was a great place to visit - beautiful city, good weather, amazing food and such welcoming friendly people.

It was all very nice. One small niggle - my partner and I were both given a key each, but his only worked on the inner door, so it wasn't possible for us to both go out to different places without coordinating return times. As an added extra - it would be helpful if the host could leave a map as we never found a tourist information actually open so never really knew where we were going for the first few days and a few basic instructions on where the nearest supermarket, ATM etc. is, and perhaps some restaurant recommendations (it's always nice to know where the locals would go). We went for a 25 min walk on the first day to find the supermarket Google said was closest, but actually there was one less than 5 mins away around the corner which was actually much nicer.

Probably one of the best holiday apartments I have stayed in, modern, comfortable, well equipped, quite and secure. The apartment is on the 6th floor but lift takes you up to outside the apartment door. Supermarket 5 minutes away on Via Dante and there is a baker shop at the end of street on Via Malaspina. A bus stop is just outside the baker shop and about 4 buses pass there and the 101 which we used quite a bit travels through the city to central station.

I was not aware that it was self entry and assumed someone would meet us at the property. It would have been better if I had received the email with the entry details a couple of days prior to travelling rather than on the day that I was travelling and unaware that an email was sent. Anyway a phone call sorted it out.
