Alanga apartament

Stayed here for a week, it was really disappointing, felt like we we 30 years back in time - welcome back to Soviet Union... Rooms decorated poorly, really Soviet style and not even close to clean! Staff with attitude. Breakfast directly sad - most of the time most dishes were empty and everyone were waiting for it being refilled, and refill was 5 pancakes at a time with 10 people waiting... No amenities that would be expected in a 4 star hotel. I would give this place 2 stars and accordingly price should be adjusted.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. At first, the greetings were not kind, the reception lady probably had a bad mood. The room is very low quality. There are holes in the wall, in the doors. The curtains were with something greasy all over it. The breakfast was ok. This hotel is overpriced. There are much more cheaper and higher quality places around.

Nice hotel for good price. Nothing over the top, but clean and comfortable room, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast and great location. We would certainly choose this hotel for our next visit to Palanga.

Starting with the reception - attitude of some receptionists could be better. High season - problems with the parking, rooms dated ( especially bathroom), beds very uncomfortable, breakfast not for 4 star hotel.

We stayed 2 nights there. Quite disappointing experience. First don't expect tout find a slot to Park your car because for 50 rooms there's less than 25 slots (and all in the street) so you make rounds to find somewhere to park. Second do not trust the swimming pool : it closes at...4pm. Incredible. Or you choose not to visit the town. Third : breakfast is less than average. Orange juice is awfull and you get a croissant by chance. Fourth : in summer you will be waked up around 4.30 am as there is no shutter nor blackout curtains. Fifth : when I shave myself in the morning I don't expect to find some beard hair in the washroom when I come back in the evening. So this hotel, despite spacious clean rooms , doesn't worth the price (125 euros per night) and is definitely not a 4 stars hotel.

Alanga Hotel was clean, efficient and good value for money. The reception staff in particular were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was good and whilst the restaurant area staff were quiet and looked very bored they were polite. Good location and would certainly use agian.

Stayed at the Alanga Hotel for 4 nights on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Good points.....Good value for money, £170 for a double room inc. breakfast. Ideal location, quiet area, 5 minute stroll to both the main strip or to the shopping area & small market. Very friendly reception staff and management. Small, downstairs pool,sauna & steam room with free towels and locker room. Balcony with table & 2 chairs and ashtray for smokers. Comfortable bed. Bad Points........Very dirty, stained carpet in room. (302) Very limited choice for breakfast. As a budget priced hotel, The Alanga Hotel, is in a perfect location, but is sorely in need of a refurbishment. If arriving at Palanga airport, get the No.3 bus from the roadside (heading south), and get off at Centras bus stop in Palanga (70 cents per person one way). The hotel is located 300yds behind the big church.

We had no preconceived ideas and we're open to whatever came our way . The hotel room was perfect, ample size and it had everything for our needs . Beds we're really comfy and we slept well. Our room had a small balcony , it overlooked a common , minutes from the main strip. Staff were so helpful whenever we required it , reception staff delightful. We had breakfast one day and it provided plenty of choice. We were so busy we never used the Pool or the Spa but had the weather been bad I'm sure it would be a real bonus. The hotel is central to the beach, a 10 euro ride to the airport , and well placed for a relaxed break . We will certainly recommend and want to return suchbwas the welcome we received .

Paid 95 euros a night, more than I did in Venice. Bathroom did not have any shampoo or soap, paid for double bet, got 2 singles pushed together. 95 Euros does not include breakfast, wi-fi and city tax (few euros a night). The best thing about hotel would probably be location and parking. 4 stars was probably obtained 15 years ago if not more. Would only give 2-3 max.

We wanted a budget hotel for one night stay so expectations was not too high about this hotel. What surprised us in a positive way was the reception service and the size of the room. Parking outside was ok (free of charge on the street) and also Wifi was free. Hotel is not modern or new, and this you can see on the rooms who are a bit old style. Disappointed over the breakfast which was very bad even though you need to pay extra for it. Few choices as most was already finished and service below expectations.
