This room rental was super spacious and really comfortable! The owners were so lovely and we felt like part of the family. We even went to a local waterfall together, they invited us into their home when we had problems with the a typhoon that had hit the Philippines and they gave us food and really looked after us! We were able to rent their car for a great price and go on a day trip around Bohol which was great! Can’t recommend enough! thank you so much for a lovely stay :)

"Recommended to stay for a short sightseeing trip!"

- location is not in the main tourist area but we wanted to explore Bohol and Panglao by scooter and it was perfect for this (scooter rental 500p for 24h). You can easily get to good restaurants with 5-10 min driving - we got picked up and dropped off at the pier free of charge which was very nice - the bungalow is big with 2 rooms incl. kitchenette, toilet and shower. It has a fan, no AC, but that was not an issue for us - comfy bed and clean space - good communication, there was always someone around to answer our questions - added bonus: there were small puppies when we were there!

- not so much of a downside - there were a few chickens outside that could be loud but the hosts provided us with earplugs (we didn’t need them and it was very okay but for people sensitive to noise that might be a good idea)

The staff was great! Very accommodating and friendly. Roland, the owner, even visited us to check on our first night. Even fixed our internet/wifi connection! The place was very comfortable and cold at night. Also breezy in the mornings, but you do need to turn on the ceiling fan. There's heater available. They also have a good contact for a massage therapist, Erlinda. Also near the airport, just about 10-15 minute trike drive/travel. We also got free buko! :D

It is quite noisy in the mornings though, but ear plugs are available in the room. The location is quite far from the nearest food/convenience store areas. It is walking distance, but transport is not easy to come by. You can, however, get some contacts for a trike service with Roland or MJ. Drinking water is provided, but the cold is warm lol
