Lowerbourne House Studio

Fabulous studio, very comfortable, had everything you needed even a small outside space and right in the heart of Porlock, a lovely town with pubs , eataries and local shops. Also there was free parking very nearby. Great base to explore North Devon with many walks direct from your door, would highly recommend.

The location was perfect for where we needed to be, shop at Tesco and we were set, all mod cons available, comfy bed, cozy room

what is not to like, its clean, modern have all the facilities you need, centrally placed in the village though set back so very quiet and everyone s very friendly and helpful.

Sally, our host was most welcoming ( bread, milk, eggs and muffins made available ) and helpful. The location could not have been better and although only a few yards from the busy main street ( A39 ) the Studio was quiet and peaceful. A 15 minute pleasant walk to Porlock Marsh and Beach. Car Parking space a one minute walk away.

A comfortable studio with everything you needed for a short stay self catering break. Safe enclosed courtyard for our dogs. Great location near to shops, restaurants, pubs and chip shop. Also close access to the south west coastal path. Great to have parking provided less than 1 minute walk from the Studio. Met by our host Sally and shown around the studio. A lovely welcome pack provided which included milk, eggs, loaf of bread and cakes.

Nothing to dislike.

Located off the main road in Porlock with vehicle access meant unloading and loading luggage was easy as just pulling up and getting everything inside. Secure parking site located 20 seconds away meant easy access to your vehicle if so desired. Property was lovely and clean with good WiFi when relaxing in the evening. Sally gave us bread, cakes and eggs for when we arrived which was a lovely gesture.

Everything, nothing was to much trouble for Sally, a lovely host. Welcome pack was gratefully received, quiet location with a very nice outdoor courtyard, so good we have already booked for next year.

The only negative as such is the two TV chairs that are unusable, if like me you have any back issues, a nice 2 seater cottage type settee or suchlike would be great with regards to back support.

Had everything we needed for a short, comfortable stay and was in an ideal location to explore the area. Friendly, welcoming host, easy parking and several good places to eat within easy walking distance in village.
