La Limonaia e La Praia

Utsikten var underbar men allt annat var dåligt!

Smutsigt, trasiga möbler och köksredskap. Vi behövde göra rent duschen och vattenkokaren från kalk. Bubbelpoolen var trasig och trots att vi inte kunde använda den under vår vistelse så fick vi ingen ersättning eller kompensation vilket var en riktig besvikelse.

Bien situé. Vue magnifique sur la mer et la côte amalfitaine. Grand, spacieux. Magnifique terrasse qui donne sur l’océan.

Le stationnement est Inutilement cher. La terrasse des voisins au-dessus donne sur la chambre à coucher. Par un curieux hasard de construction, chaque fois qu’ils bougent une chaise, laissent tomber un stylo ou marchent, c’est comme un amplificateur de son. Autrement dit: tu dors quand ils se couchent et tu te réveilles quand ils se lèvent. Pour le prix, c’est plutôt décevant.

Beautiful location in a quiet small town on the Amalfi coast. Great restaurants close by. The apartment was great for our family!

Needs a bit of tender loving care.

My wife and I absolutely adored staying at this property. Large separate Lounge/kitchen/dining area with the most spectacular views over the ocean. Huge outside areas to dine, sunbathe and a lovely 2 person Jacuzzi to enjoy at the end of the day. Located close to Praiano town and the most beautiful Marina Praia - truly a hidden gem on the coast with 4 excellent romantic restaurants and bars. The only problem is that the property is hard to find and requires a very steep climb up the hillside. The host was excellent and very helpful.

While we loved the location at Praiano - much better than the overly crowded towns of Amalfi and Positano - it is difficult to travel to the other towns along the coast. Sometimes hard to get a bus in summer as they are often full and go straight past. Taxis are terribly expensive. But we still loved the Praiano area and Marina Praia better than the other more expensive, famous locations on the coast

Outstanding views, big backyard with extra terrace for breathtaking views. In between Positano and Amalfi. Very nice host who responds quickly and provides guidance. They arranged taxi for us from Airport which was very nice. Beautiful house in the mountains with good setup. We would love to stay again at this place.

All good but be prepared to walk up and down at least 10+ minutes as you are going quite up from street level. If you have disabilities walking or with children, be prepared accordingly. They do offer porter service for additional price for each way to haul your luggage. You need to arrange taxi at least a day or more before.
