The Loft

Property was modern and clean. Good location for the beach and shops. Hosts responded quickly to messages.

It was very difficult to sleep with the noise of the seagulls, so took a while to get used to.

Excellent location, few minutes walk away from the shops, restaurants, the harbour, beaches and just over 5 minutes walk to the train station. Could not be better in terms of convenience. The property was really clean and with lovely high ceilings felt very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery etc and included everything you need to keep the place tidy such as bin bags, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs (no washing machine). The apartment is only a couple of minutes walk away from a Co-op so cooking is definitely possible. We actually used the kitchen less than expected as we were so close to so many nice places to eat or grab a small bite.

With the excellent central location also came a fair amount of surrounding noise from the hubbub of the local traffic, tourists, pub go-ers and of course the seagulls! This did quieten down in the evening but I would probably not recommend The Loft if you are a light and early sleeper, otherwise it's a great place to base yourself. Warning, loo roll is not provided!

This place really exceeded expectations! This is the first property we have been to where the rooms looked even bigger than the photos. The view was magnificent and the apartment was so clean. They had everything and the towels were excellent quality. We will be staying there again for sure! The apartment was very large and spacious and our 2 year old loved it there too.

Amazing location and views

Windows are not insulated in the main bedroom

It was a gorgeous location, as described, and the flat was clean, airy, well laid out... felt a little like home from home if I was lucky enough to live in St Ives. I seriously can't fault the accommdation, location or how friendly everyone was.

The apartment was much bigger than we were expecting and the view from the kitchen window was amazing. The instructions in various places were very helpful. There is seagull nest right outside the bedroom window and I enjoyed watching the chick.

Not the property's fault: drunk people and loud music from the pub next door on Friday & Saturday night. Bedroom bit warm at night - could benefit from a couple of fans? Bed was too hard for me but that is personal preference. Otherwise couldn't fault the place 🙂

Perfect location right in the middle of everything. The apartment was a proper little home from home with everything we needed for our stay and the view from the kitchen was perfect when having our morning coffee..would definitely recommend 🙂

Friday night drunks gathering and fighting in the alleyway underneath our bedroom window but hopefully that was a one off and we were just unlucky, that could've happened anywhere!
