Nice, big, clean apartment with stunning view. Near the city centrum, just on the corner bakery, few minutes walk - restaurants, cafes. Just 10-15 min walking distance to bus stop to Erice or to airport. The apartment has all the necessary equipment for cooking, a coffee machine. Very easy and quick communication with owner.

The view was amaizing and location perfect.

Everything was wonderful. The host, Marina, was very helpful with the two problems I had to self check in (just in case this is helpful to other travelers, let me mention that: 1. Google maps has the apartment marked in a slightly wrong spot. It does not face the little square. If you're standing in front of the #16 there, look to your right and that's where the real via Botteghelle starts and the numbers soon go down to the real #16. 2. Once you get a code that opens two doors - if someone left the first of these doors open, the code won't open the second one. You have to close the first door for the code to work.), and ended up coming in person to help me. Herself and a friend even got my suitcase up the stairs via a pulley-like contraption. Even though for me it was fun to practice Italian, Marina speaks excellent English and is very responsive and communicative. She's also very helpful with directions and suggestions. The apartment itself... What can I say, you walk in and see this amazing view and just want to stay there. You don't just see the sea, you can also hear it. You get beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and the balcony may be tiny, but it's possible to put a chair there and just sit and enjoy the beauty. The apartment has everything you might need - a coffee maker, a bottle of water, carton of milk and even a little bottle of beer in the fridge, a washing machine that's easy to use etc etc. I've seen a review that mentioned no drying rack. This is absolutely not true. I'm pretty sure I've seen an indoor one folded up, but also, as anywhere in Italy, if you want to find a drying rack, just look outside the windows. I found one outside the window of one of the bedrooms. There weren't any toiletries in the bathroom, but that was no problem for me, I had my own. The location is great, not only close to the sea but also to what ended up being one of my favorite restaurants in town, Antichi Sapori.

We truly fell in love with Casa di Clara. The view was spectacular!! The location was perfect for walking the sea wall, restaurants close by, easy walk to the centre. Very nice to have extra space & comfortable seating. First accommodation that had English TV which was much appreciative on a wet stormy night. Also, checkin was very quick & simple & Marina was very helpful!

Its not really a dislike b/c Casa di Clara doesn’t have control over the parking situation in the old centre. Free parking was available 350 meters from the apartment & was an easy, flat walk.
