"Sunny Newcastle"

Beautiful views and hosts provided breakfast items. It has a nice pool but didn't bring bathers šŸ˜† Lovely hosts and very welcoming and informative. Leaves information about Newcastle. Where to go for places.

The hosts do live above as it's in a beautiful two storey house but it can be noisy as we are below. This would only suit a family as there is only 1 bathroom provided which is in the main bedroom. The shower had terrible water pressure. Very slow and not enjoyable. šŸ˜ž

This is our second time staying at Max and Gabrielleā€™s By The Lake and we loved it. Itā€™s directly opposite the water with the most stunning views. The property was spotlessly clean and stacked with many breakfast items, tea, coffee, raisin toast, strawberries, yoghurt, bananas, eggs, tomatoes, cereals, bread, milk, hair dryer, many clean towel sets. Nothing has been missed. We went fishing at Booragul wharf which is only 400 metres from the house and we caught many tailor and bream. We ate at the Italian restaurant at Toronto the first night and Toronto hotel the next. Both were excellent.The bed is extremely comfortable and parking right at the door outside the garage. We highly recommend staying here it is a stunning location and our hosts were really warm and welcoming.

"Beautiful apartment with wonderful hosts!"

Absolutely loved this bright, clean, spacious apartment which was a home from home during our first week in Australia from the UK as it had everything you could want! The hosts were amazing, regularly checking that we had everything we needed and Lake Macquarie was such a good choice to stay as it felt so safe. The lake is beautiful & parking at the property was easy (on the drive). Warners bay was just a short car journey away with shops, restaurants, theatre. From this base we were able to drive to beautiful beaches (Redhead was our favourite) I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again in a heartbeat if I visited Australia again. Thank you Max and Gabrielle for a wonderful stay!
