Apartamento, muy agradable y silencioso en el mejor sitio de Sevilla, al lado de la Giralda.

La puerta de entrada al portal se abría sin llave y no había luz en la escalera lo que puede dar sensación de inseguridad, pero me imagino que se subsanará, para la próxima vez que volvamos.

Proximity to all the attractions, 5min walk to Cathedral and Alcazar. Just off a busy street with numerous bars and tapas restaurants but very quiet inside the apartment. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed if you cooked. The apartment was very clean with additional towels provided too Nice roof terrace

La posizione: vicino a Cattedrale e Alcázar. La silenziosità e ingresso stabile molto signorile. Letti comodi. Dotazione molto buona: bottiglia di acqua, prodotti per pulire, cialde caffè, olio, aceto, zucchero, sale e pepe oltre a sapone ecc tutto mini dosato ma presente.

Porte interne rotte e vecchie, tende sporche e impolverate, mancano tovagliette per appoggiare piatti e bicchieri su tavolo in vetro. Acqua calda con boiler quindi dura poco. Bidè traballante. La camera con i due letti singoli non ha oscuramento.

We actually didn't stay in Santa Cruz. There was some maintenance issue and we were offered a central Seville apartment. The Genteel Home folks handled it swiftly and very professionally. (On this same trip we had a cancelation in another city and that (different) company essentially said 'tough luck and goodbye'. GH took responsibility and made it easy. The new property was visually wonderful. It was also immediately close to many of the major sites of Seville. It was loud.

The Cathedral bells take some getting used to. They mark every quarter hour all night. Probably because this was a holiday weekend the ambient noise was considerable. Finally, we had a very loud family overhead. They were boisterous far too late. One does get used to the bells and without these possibly unique noise issues, all would have superb.

The location was amazing. I stayed here with my elderly mother and it was extremely convenient from a location point of view. Everything (sights, restaurants, small neighbourhood shops with all the basics etc) is only a few minutes walking away. The building has an elevator, which was great. The apartment is very comfortable with good beds, great bathrooms, a comfy couch and a really well equipped kitchen. We really appreciated that dishwashing soap, new sponge and cloth, dishwasher tablets, washing machine powder, oil and vinegar, coffee pods, tea, salt, pepper, and sugar were all provided. The large balcony, accessible via the upstairs bedroom is also very nice and comfy.

I had noticed in some of the previous reviews some comments on the lights in the hallway of the building that were not working. That was unfortunately still the case. We had to use the light on our phone. We also had some issues with a sewage smell, which is however quite a common thing in Sevilla and other cities across the Mediterranean. Note that the entrance to the building is in a street that cannot be accessed by cars so you have to walk 60 meters if you get dropped off on the corner by a taxi . This disadvantage is however also a BIG advantage: although you are in the middle of the city center, the apartment is really nice an quiet!

Fantastic location for all the sites.Busy area but apartment was so quiet and peaceful. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need and dishwasher tablets left to use was so handy.lovely towels and a great shower.We would definitely go back .

No light working in the communal area on the stairway.
