Lochview

A lovely roof conversion, beautifully fitted out in an idyllic situation, loch side (remember to pack the mozzie spray!) Richard was an excellent host and has the most beautiful garden to sit in and wander through.

The height (or lack!) of the sloping ceiling, might be a bit challenging for the taller person, especially in the bathroom!

Everything, a beautiful flat, spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need. In a stunning location, peaceful, stunning views and the hosts Richard and Janet made us feel very welcome.

Nothing it was all just perfect. 😊

Wonderful location and gardens. Excellent places to sit out and enjoy the views.

Due to the apartment being an attic conversion, there were some height issues in areas of the bathroom and kitchen. No problem for short folk!

This place is an absolute gem. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. The place was bigger than it seemed in photos and was impeccably clean. Its location is beautiful, right by a loch and surrounded by a beautiful garden and fields. It is perfect for a quiet retreat. Most accessible by car, but there is a bus service available two/three times a day from the main road (15-20 minute walk). Hopefully, I'll be able to book this place again next time I visit Orkney!

I really appreciate the whole place.I felt warmly welcomed and  by the host. He was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is top ***** rated.  There is everything you need. The whole place is perfectly cleaned, greatly equipped and maintained. The surrounding area is quiet and it was like in the another world. To be awakened by birds' songs and see the loch. It was my best accommodation as far as I remember.I wish I knew this place before. I would definitely spend much more time  at the Orkney!

Everything was perfect.

Modern, comfortable, with lovely art. Remote farmland setting with excellent unpaved road. Friendly helpful owner. Gardens and gazebo overlooking small lake.

A small table or set of shelves is needed in the bathroom for toilet kits.

The location near on the loch was perfect. Saw a few fish jumping and even had a go ourselves (to the detriment of our rod :P ). The property was a great size, cosy and snug. Slept like a log - enjoyed the silence. Kitchen was well equipped. A wonderful spot. Would stay there again!
