Kasuga House is a wonderful gem! I stayed in the Studio, which is a great base for a medium or long-term stay. There is an excellent supermarket within walking distance and the well-equipped kitchenette allows independence. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood with fields on one side and it is a very pleasant 25-minute walk, through residential streets with some traditional houses, to the university campus. Kamiwaki-san is a great character - very kind and welcoming - and I would definitely stay here again.

The location is away from most public transport, but it is only about a 20-minute walk to Tsukuba Center and the train station.

The room was big enough. Our own bathroom. Comfortable 🛏️

The kitchen needed more utensils such as forks,knives and spoons. Also more plates.

木目が素敵なくつろげる建物です。お部屋も広くて必要十分なものが揃っていました。チェックインが遅くなったのですが、電話をしたらゆっくりどうぞとのこと。オーナーさんご夫妻がとても良い方でした。自転車を貸してもらえて大きいスーパー&ホームセンターに行けたので大変助かりました。また利用したいと思います。

特にないですが、オーナーさんの話では、WiFiが弱いかも、とのことです。私はラインとポッドキャストぐらいしか使わないので問題ありませんでした。

Property is very cute and has everything you need. Check in and check out were a little weird, I had to knock at night on their door to inquire. However, the hosts are extremely friendly.
