Watford Gemini - Eton 1 - Nr Watford Junction, M1 ,M25

Location was excellent with parking outside, perfect base for exploring London (a short walk or drive to Watford Junction with overground and underground connections to London Euston and more) and a short drive from major attractions like Harry Potter Studios and Legoland. The flat was spacious and well-equipped, clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was great and checking in was easy. Would definitely rebook. Great value.

This is the property we booked but it was not the one we were given. Booked this one specifically for location (due to family member’s mobility problems) but were placed in one twice the distance from the station. Asked why but were fobbed off and told the other one was the one we booked according to their records. Not true according to booking confirmation hence why I am being asked to review this one now. Had a choice to argue and end up with nothing on arrival or suck it up. Chose the latter. Place we were given was ok but not what or where we booked. Clearly double booked or some mix up but no responsibility taken by property manager. After check out security deposit was not refunded and had to be chased up. Finally received after several weeks.

Parking is good.

We stayed two nights at the apartment visting the Harry Potter film studios. The apartment is pretty much run down. The worse were the mattresses in ALL beds. Not even the kids could sleep comfortably. The shower did not work properly and there was much moldiness. The kitchen was old, but ok. Most walls had stains. But we were supposed to make a seperate contract regarding the maintaning of the flat. We expected something outstanding. We had to pay a deposit of 200 Pounds that should be refunded; this had to be in a rush since they provided payment details on short notice; I did not receive the refund nor did the landlord respond to my requests. It is now 4 weeks after our stay. The comunication has room for improvement. Had much better apartments during our trip with less hassle. Booking.com is involved to resolve the issue.

It was close to a nice pub

Beds were old and in need of replacing Hot water to the shower did not work Sign at the entrance to the building stated no air bnb allowed, which made us feel uncomfortable Owner was not helpful and very unprofessional

Really quiet, which considering its location was a surprise. Secure car parking available below block of flats. Host's attention making sure we were OK thoughout our stay and patience with the payment system. Comfortable and nicely furnished, some great artwork. Proximity to a really good curry house (Raj Garden). Really easy to get to and from M25 and central London

Shower wasn't fully functional had to use hand held spray which was a pfaff. Curtains a bit thin for us as we usually have light blocker blinds but as we got up early both days wasn't too bad

Very quiet and safe; good access to station; very pleasant outlook; spacious and comfortable; welcoming host; very good value for money.

Handheld shower (temporary?); noisy mattresses; uncomfortable sofa bed.

Apartment was fine and the location to the train station was good. The area was nice and kitchen had what you needed.

The host was very friendly, but the communication was extremely arduous. In a digital age, it should not require so many texts and phone calls with the host. Also, I had to follow up to have my deposit returned.

Great Location, Host was super helpful. Flat was lovely and clean. All instructions given by host were spot on.
