Watford Gemini - Eton 1 - Nr Watford Junction, M1 ,M25

The location was good, very close from the train staton and the bus stop where you can catch the bus to the Harry Potter museum. The keys from the apartment were in a locker located in front of the house, we had to call the owner to tell the code. No problem with this. The apartment is nice and clean, the hot water in the shower was not working but for 2 days stay we did not ask them to fix it.

We had problems to get the security depozit 200GBP back and had to ask booking for help. We got it back in about 1 month. We had to pay a security deposit before the arrival. The instructions came 1 day before arrival - link for payment by card was not working so we had to pay via bank transfer which usuallly takes a few days in international environment. So we sent print screen of the transfer to the property owner/staff which was accepted. I also had severar phone call with the accomodation in regards to this matted to make sure we will have the accomodation when we arrive. The person I spoke with was always nice so I do not know why we had such a problem to get the money back, they never replied, no apology.

The location is very good 6 min walk to watford train station and a nice safe area for walking to and from.

The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable Poor quality sleep. It took four weeks to be refunded deposit

after finding unclean cutlery and cups I washed it all first - absence of dishwasher means you have to rely on previous occupants’ rigour in washing up! hardly a problem though

The owner was lovely and great with contact, letting us know things in the area, etc. The location is fab, less than 10 min walk to the train station. Getting in/access all went really smooth. A great little stay for 2 nights, just what we needed which was somewhere to sleep/base.

Think the place just needs a bit of touch-up in regards to painting and a deep clean. Water pressure not great on shower and taps.

Layout of apartment and space. Large bed in main bedroom.

Heating system didn't work in hall or main bedroom had to use plug in heater all the time between hall and bedroom. Both main lights in living room and kitchen were aligned. Lamp or separate lights would have helped better lighting on an evening. Black out curtains would have supported sleep too. Wated pressure needs review, shower poor and lack of flow from taps.
