Breakfast - not applicable. Location was fine overlooking portion of Umdloti beach - write up promised stunning views but hedges had grown and so view was severely restricted. Sea view could only be viewed from outside on the patio.

Lots could have been better! Maintenance on the property was very poor. Kitchen cupboard door hanging on by one hinge, fridge leaking on the floor,, bedroom cupboards could not be opened - jammed. Laminating on sides of most of the cupboards were peeling off due to moisture absorption. There was no patio furniture although this was advertised on the Booking.com site. Property was advertised as being on one level, however, to get to this level one had to climb many stairs, even though there was a “lift” part of the way, there were still many stairs to climb - most unsuitable for elderly people or people with walking challenges and certainly not wheelchair friendly (as stated on Booking.com website). Furthermore, on Booking.com confirmation we were told that we receive the code for the key box on the day of our arrival. No code was received and luckily the cleaner was still at the property gave us access. There was no information regarding wi-fi connection and we had to phone the owner to obtain the password. Also Booking.com advert stated DSTV channels but were told when we contacted the owner that only Netflix was available. There were no bedside tables or reading lamps in the main bedroom. Two light bulbs not working - lounge and patio. The entrance security grill/door very awkward to open - even the cleaner struggled to open it as it appeared the lock was worn. All in all it was very disappointing, although with a little effort it could have been a comfortable stay. Not value for money in its present state.

The location was amazing!!! perfect spot , perfect amenities and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the ease of check-in. It was such a refreshing experience, and I would definitely book here again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

The waiting for the lift to take bags up. the lift wasn't working on the last day. so just be prepared to either wait for the lift or the walk all the way up
