My family and I recently stayed at this accommodation, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Right upon entering, we were greeted by a pool of water on the kitchen floor, caused by the fridge leaking. Despite informing the owner, citing it might be due to building electricity issues, the leak persisted throughout our seven-day stay, forcing us to continuously clean the floor. Moreover, the amenities listed on the website did not match reality. There were supposed to be balcony chairs and a table, which were missing during our entire stay. This was quite disappointing as we had hoped to enjoy the outdoor space. Additionally, there was an offensive odor emanating from the couches, which made lounging there unpleasant.generally the flat had a mould smell. The sheets provided were also uncomfortable, there is suppose to be a TV in the other bedroom not a mirror. The shower also floods and further adding to the dissatisfaction . Unfortunately, these compounding issues overshadowed our vacation. We hope the owner addresses these problems swiftly, as the potential for a great stay is there if improvements are made.

After an exhausting day I was looking forward to this long-awaited stay, I got to the building. After walking up 100 stairs and getting into the apartment, it smelled muffy. The cushions on the couch smelled of perspiration. the rooms were dusty. The wifi had to be topped (I had to call the owner) then Netflix didn't work because of passwords and codes. The bedroom pillows also had a smell. the blinds in the bedroom were broken, I had to stuff towels behind it so that nobody could look into the room. The host was contactable and was amicable. I could not go for a walk because of the lifts not working. Overall, I will not ever recommend this place.

Nice view of the ocean. Walking distance to the beachfront and restaurants. 20 min drive from Balito or Umhlanga. We loved it and will recommend it to friends and family. We had a great relaxing stay.

Door locks need some TLC. Bit of a struggle locking up and keeping doors open when windy. The fridge is not working well, and the leaking compressor oil is somewhat messy. Stairs were challenging on occasion. Lift is convenient but not for everyone.
