Apartment Zermatt - Best Location

Sehr gute Lage. Direkt beim Bahnhof. Die Küche war (für uns Hobbyköche) sehr gut ausgestattet.

The location was amazing! This was also the most well-stocked kitchen of any apartment we’ve stayed at. We loved our stay here!!

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Die Unterkunft liegt super zentral direkt ggü. vom Bahnhof. Bis zur Gornergratbahn sind es nur 2 min zu Fuss. Der Supermarkt befindet sich im gleichen Gebäude, was sehr praktisch ist. Vom Balkon kann man das Matterhorn sehr gut sehen.

Die Einrichtung ist Geschmacksache.

なんといっても便利な立地。そして、アパート内の設備が整っている。オーナーも親切。 私たちは、空港でトラブルに見舞われ、予定到着時間に遅れ、アパートの入り口が閉まってしまっていた。困っていたらオーナーが助けてくれたので、中に入ることができた。お風呂も洗濯機も台所もパーフェクト。そして、なんと！部屋からマッターホルンを見ることができる！

Our booking gave us only the address, no apartment number, floor or host's name. Luckily, we met a nice lady living in Building B, who offered to call the local number on the booking. That information brought us to the 1st floor of Building A, with a lockbox to the apartment of Karin and Michael Gehring. This apartment is very well equipped and furnished, you could easily stay a month and not use all the kitchen gadgets and utensils. The apartment is very spacious, except for the 2nd bedroom. There is a nice view of the Matterhorn from the balcony, weather permitting. However, that view will soon disappear as the construction next the property progresses. The location next to the SBB and Gornergrat stations are definitely a plus.

Sadly, the apartment directly above on the 2nd floor is being remodeled, and the noise of the jackhammer chipping at the tiles on the concrete floor made us flee the apartment on the first day until evening! In fact, you could hear the noise from outside the building and in Building B. The teeth-rattling noise was unbearable! The second day was quieter.
